Specific Provisions by Offered Sport/Market
Football - Various Football Markets
Final Result. All match markets are based on the result after 90 minutes of play (also referred to as full time or regular time), unless otherwise specified. Time added by the referee for stoppages or other added time is included. Extra time and time allocated to a penalty shoot-out are not included. The only exception to this rule concerns friendly matches that are not governed by any organising authority, where all markets will be settled on the actual final score at the end of the game (excluding extra time), regardless of whether the full 90 minutes are played, and Beach Soccer, where markets are settled after 36 minutes of play. If the participating teams and/or referees determine before kick-off that the match will be played over a different duration from the usual 90 minutes, that decision will be treated as the official rules of the match (for example, a friendly played in two 40-minute halves). If, for any reason, the format of a friendly match changes from two halves to three or more periods, all bets on the match will be void.
Extra-Time Betting. Extra time means any scheduled period of play between the end of regular time (e.g. 90 minutes plus any stoppage or other added time) and the end of the match. Live betting markets on extra time are settled based on the official statistics for the extra-time period. Extra time does not include the penalty shoot-out.
Postponed, Rescheduled or Abandoned Matches. Matches that are not played or are postponed are treated as Non-Participants for settlement purposes and all bets are settled as void. If a match is played before the scheduled date or start time, bets on that match remain valid provided they were placed before the match started. Bets on any match abandoned before completion of 90 minutes will be void, except where settlement had already been determined before the abandonment or where the competent authority promptly declares the score at that time to be the official and final result. In that case, 1X2 and Double Chance markets are settled according to the official result and all other markets are void unless already determined. For example, First Goalscorer or First Goal bets remain valid if a goal had been scored before the interruption.
Matches Not Played Under the Stated Conditions. If the venue of a match changes, bets already placed remain valid provided the designated home team continues to be treated as the home team. If the home and away teams are reversed, bets placed based on the original listing will be void. We make every effort to indicate on our website matches played at neutral venues. For games played at a neutral venue, whether or not this is noted on our website, all bets remain valid regardless of which team is listed as the home team. If an official authority lists different teams from those shown on our website, all bets will be void (for example, where the official authority specifies youth or women’s teams and our website does not include that designation).
Next Goalscorer (Goal X). Bets on the Next Goalscorer market are valid for players participating in the match at the time the bet is placed. If the next goal is an own goal, bets on the next goalscorer are settled as losing. If no goal is scored after the bet is placed, the bets are settled as losing. The “Next Goalscorer” market will be settled as void in live betting if the selected player does not participate at all after the bet is placed, e.g. a player selected to score during the first half who is substituted at half-time.
Correct Score. Predict the score at the end of regular time. Own goals count.
First/Last Team Goalscorer. Bets on players who do not take part in the match are void. Bets where the selected player enters the match after his team’s first goal has been scored are void, regardless of whether the selected player later scores. Own goals do not count.
Head 2 Head Goalscorer. Both players must start the match for bets to be valid.
Time of First Goal. If a match is interrupted after the first goal has been scored, all bets remain valid. If the match is interrupted before the first goal is scored, all bets relating to elapsed time periods are lost, while all remaining bets relating to periods after the interruption are void and treated as non-participants. For settlement purposes, the first minute of the match is the period from the first second through the 59th second. The second minute is from 1:00 through 1:59, and so on. For example, if a bet is placed on the first goal being scored between the 1st and 10th minute and the goal is scored at 10:49, that bet is lost because the goal is deemed to have been scored in the 11th minute.
Division/Relegation Betting. Bets will not remain valid if the official rules of the competition change during the competition, for example a change in the number of teams to be relegated. In that case, all bets in the market will be refunded. For settlement purposes, team positions after completion of the schedule and ratification of the competition standings will determine the placings (dead-heat rules apply where two or more teams are tied, in accordance with the official competition rules), without taking into account subsequent changes or appeals by the relevant leagues. Bets remain valid for teams that have not completed all matches. If a team is expelled from the league before the start of the season, all bets in the market will be void. If a team is expelled during the season due to external factors (for example, debts), bets on the expelled team will be void.
Top Goalscorer (Outright). Only goals scored in the relevant competition during 90 minutes and extra time count; goals in penalty shoot-outs do not count, irrespective of the team involved. Only goals scored in the relevant competition upon completion of the schedule count, unless otherwise stated in the market name. Own goals do not count. Dead-heat rules apply. Outright bets (Team Top Goalscorer, Team First Goal in Competition) on players who do not play at all in the competition are void. For the FA Cup, goals count from the 1st round onwards.
Head 2 Head Season / Team Total Points. If a team does not complete the scheduled season, all head-to-head and team-points bets concerning that team are void whether winning or losing, unless the market has already been mathematically determined.
Handicap Betting, including live betting (3-Way). Settlement is based on the odds shown for the actual score after application of the handicap.
Half-Time Result, including live betting. Bets are void if the first half is not completed.
Half-Time Correct Score. Bets are void if the first half is not completed.
Half with Most Goals. Bets are void if the match is not completed, unless settlement has already been determined.
First-Half Goals. Bets are void if the match is interrupted before the end of the first half, unless settlement has already been determined.
Half-Time/Full-Time Second-Half Bets. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count. All bets placed on outcomes occurring during the second half (e.g. 2nd Half Result, 2nd Half Double Chance, etc.) apply only to the period between the start and end of the second half. The start/end of each half is determined by the referee’s whistle starting/ending that half.
Double Chance. The following selections are available: 1 or X – if the result is a home win or draw, the selection wins / X or 2 – if the result is a draw or away win, the selection wins / 1 or 2 – if the result is a home win or away win, the selection wins. If a match is played at a neutral venue, the team listed first will be treated as the home team for betting purposes.
Extra-Time Goals in Live Betting. Only goals scored in extra time count. If a match is interrupted before extra time is completed, all bets are void except those whose settlement has already been determined.
Goal Betting in Live Betting. For live bets, all goals count regardless of whether they were scored before or after the bet was placed.
Competition Betting (Outrights)
Team Top Goalscorer. Only goals scored in the relevant competition during 90 minutes and extra time for the team named in the market count; goals scored in penalty shoot-outs do not count. Only goals in the relevant competition upon completion of the schedule count unless otherwise stated in the market name. Own goals do not count. Dead-heat rules apply. Outright bets (Team Top Goalscorer, Team First Goal in Competition) on players who do not play at all in the competition are void.
Club Top Goalscorer. Goals scored during 90 minutes and extra time count; goals in penalty shoot-outs do not count. Dead-heat rules apply. If no player from the team scores, the bets are void.
Top Goalscorer. Goals scored during 90 minutes and extra time count, but not goals scored in a penalty shoot-out after extra time. Dead-heat rules apply (except where the market is based on the player receiving the Golden Boot, etc.). The team shown is for reference only. For the FA Cup, goals count from the 1st round onwards.
Total Yellow Cards in Competition. The maximum number of yellow cards per player per match is two. Yellow cards shown during extra time and the penalty shoot-out count. Yellow cards shown to substitutes (players on the bench) count for this market, excluding players who have already been substituted off.
Total Red Cards in Competition. The maximum number of red cards per player per match is one. Red cards shown during extra time and the penalty shoot-out count. Red cards shown to substitutes (players on the bench) count for this market, excluding players who have already been substituted off. Cards shown to coaches or members of the technical staff do not count.
Team Total Goals. Goals scored during the 90 minutes of regular time and extra time count, but goals in the penalty shoot-out do not.
Competition Goals. Goals scored during the 90 minutes of regular time and extra time count, but goals in the penalty shoot-out do not.
Competition Penalties. Penalties taken during the 90 minutes of regular time and extra time count. If a penalty is retaken, only the final attempt counts.
Competition Corners. Only corners taken during the 90 minutes of regular time count.
Competition Winner and Top Goalscorer (Double). Bets are settled as winning if both the named team and the named player are winning selections. In the event of a tie in the competition top-goalscorer market, dead-heat rules apply and the bet is settled by dividing the selected odds by the total number of joint top goalscorers.
Head 2 Head Team Goalscorer. Only goals scored in the relevant competition during 90 minutes of regular time and extra time for the team named in the market count; goals in penalty shoot-outs do not. Only goals in the relevant competition upon completion of the schedule count unless otherwise stated in the market name. Own goals do not count. In the event of a tie, all stakes are refunded.
Team to Progress Furthest. Predict the round in which each team will be eliminated, irrespective of extra time, replays, etc. The team that wins the final is deemed to have progressed furthest. Dead-heat rules apply. This applies whether the bet is pre-match/fixed odds or live.
Head 2 Head Qualification. If a team is expelled from the competition before the match and the opponent advances without playing, qualification bets on that fixture will be void.
Season Specials. Bets are settled based on the team’s final league position and points total for the season. Play-off points do not count unless specifically stated in the special market.
To Reach the Play-Offs. Teams finishing in positions that qualify them for the play-offs are winning selections in this market.
To Finish in the Top/Bottom Half of the Table. Bets are settled based on the official league positions at the end of the season.
Relegation Betting. Bets will be void if the organising authority changes the rules during the season. For example, if the number of teams to be relegated changes after the league has started, bets on this market will be void and refunded.
If a team is expelled from the league before the start of the season, all bets on this market will be void and a new relegation market will be opened.
If a team is expelled from the league during the season due to external factors (for example, debts), bets on the expelled team will be void.
A points deduction imposed on a team by the organising authority (as a sanction) does not affect settlement of the market.
Ball Possession. Predict which team will have the greater percentage of possession in a match.
Team Goals. The number of goals scored by the specified team during the 90 minutes of regular time, excluding extra time and penalty shoot-outs.
First-Half Corners, including live betting. Bets will be void if the match is interrupted before the end of the first half, unless settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Total Corners, Second-Half Corners. If the match is interrupted before completion of 90 minutes of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. If a corner is retaken (for example, due to a foul in the penalty area), only one corner counts. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Extra-Time Corners in Live Betting. Only corners during extra time count. If the match is interrupted before extra time is completed, all bets are void except those whose settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Corner Handicap. The handicap is applied to the final number of corners for each team to determine the winner. Bets are void if the match is interrupted. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Additional Corners. Settlement of the Additional Corners market is based on the total number of corners at the end of the match. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Team to Win the First Corner. The market is settled according to the team awarded the first corner in the match. If the match is interrupted before completion of 90 minutes of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Team Total Corners / Corners Between Minutes XX:XX - XX:XX. Bets are settled according to the time a corner is awarded rather than the time it is taken. Corners awarded but not taken do not count. If a corner is retaken, only one execution counts.
First Team to X Corners. The market is settled according to the team that is first to reach the stated number of corners won. If the match is interrupted before completion of 90 minutes of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Team to Win the Most Corners. The market is settled according to the team that wins the most corners in the match. If the match is interrupted before completion of 90 minutes of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Team Corners - Over/Under. The market is settled according to the number of corners awarded to and taken by the team named in the market. If the match is interrupted before completion of 90 minutes of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. Corners awarded but not taken do not count.
Extra-Time Goal Betting in Live Betting. The live goal-betting rules apply, but only goals scored in extra time count. The score is treated as 0-0 at the start of extra time.
Odd/Even Goals. If the score is 0-0, the bet is settled as Even. If the match is not completed, the bets are void.
Both Teams to Score / No Goal (GG/NG). “GG” means both teams to score. “NG” means that one or both teams do not score. If a match is interrupted after both teams have scored, GG bets are settled as winning and NG bets as losing. If the match is postponed or interrupted before both teams have scored, the bets are void.
Sum of Goal Minutes. Predict the total of the minutes in which goals are scored in a match. For example, if goals are scored in the 24th, 51st and 59th minutes, the total is 134. Goals scored in first-half stoppage time count as minute 45. Goals scored in second-half stoppage time count as minute 90. If the match is interrupted, bets are void except those already determined by the goals scored (for example, goals in minutes 40, 45 and 60 and interruption in the 65th minute: Over 140 bets are paid as winning and Under bets are losing).
Number of Cards in the Match. Bets are settled according to all data provided by our providers and only for cards shown to players during regular time. A yellow card counts as 1 and a red card as 2. A second yellow card is disregarded and the resulting red card counts instead. The maximum count per player is 3. Cards shown after the end of the match do not count. If a match is interrupted before the end of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. Cards shown to substitutes (players on the bench) do not count for this market, nor do cards shown to players who have already been substituted off. Cards shown to substitutes may count ONLY if the carded player later enters the match; in that case the card is recorded at the time the player enters the field. Cards shown to coaches or members of the technical staff do not count. Cards shown during the half-time interval count towards second-half statistics provided the player(s) shown the card participate in the second half and are not substituted before it begins.
Total Yellow Cards Over/Under. Bets are settled according to all data provided by our providers and only for cards shown during regular time. Cards shown after the end of the match do not count. Only yellow cards shown during the match count. The maximum number of yellow cards per player is two. Cards shown to substitutes (players on the bench) do not count for this market, nor do cards shown to players who have already been substituted off.
First/Last Yellow/Red Card. If two or more players receive a yellow/red card at the same time, the player to whom the referee first shows the card is the winning selection. Cards shown to substitutes do not count for this market if they have not taken part in the match. Players not eligible to participate in the match do not count. Cards shown to coaches or members of the technical staff do not count.
Player to Receive a Card / Player to Receive a Red Card. Bets on a player to receive a card/red card are valid for any player who participates in the match, regardless of the time at which the player enters. If a match is interrupted, the bets remain valid if the participant in question has already received a card. Otherwise, all bets are settled at odds of 1.00. Cards shown to substitutes count only if the carded player subsequently enters the match, in which case the card is recorded at the time the player enters the field. Cards shown to players who have already been substituted off do not count. Players not eligible to participate in the match do not count. Cards shown to coaches or members of the technical staff do not count.
Team to Score the First/Second/Next Goal. Own goals count in favour of the team to which the goal is officially awarded.
Team to Score Last. If the match is interrupted, the bets are void.
Next Penalty. Predict whether the next penalty will be scored or missed. If the match does not proceed to a penalty shoot-out or the team does not take any penalty, all bets are void.
Red Card and Penalty Awarded. Bets are settled according to red cards shown and penalties awarded during regular time. Red cards shown to substitutes do not count for this market, nor do red cards shown to players who have already been substituted off. Red cards shown after the end of the match do not count. If the match is interrupted before the end of regular time, bets are void unless settlement has already been determined.
Where VAR is used, the incident that triggered the review shall, for the purposes of these rules, be deemed to have occurred at the time of the underlying incident rather than at the time the VAR decision is made. For example, if a market concerns a goal being scored between 30:00 and 40:00 and a goal is scored at 38:36 while the assistant referee signals offside, and VAR subsequently confirms the goal, the goal time will be 38:36 and the market will be settled as winning.
If we have settled a bet and a subsequent VAR decision shows that the settlement was incorrect, we reserve the right to reverse the settlement, provided the VAR decision was made before completion of the match or other relevant betting period.
Bets placed between an incident that leads to a VAR review and the related VAR decision will be void unless: i) the VAR review and subsequent decision ultimately do not change the original decision; or ii) the VAR review and subsequent decision change the original decision but do not materially affect the particular bet (for example, where the incident under VAR review is unrelated to the outcome of that bet). All bets not materially affected by the VAR review and subsequent decision remain valid.
For settlement purposes, VAR will be deemed to have been used where this is apparent from the referee’s gestures (for example, gestures or a stoppage of play to review the incident) and/or where use of VAR is confirmed in the match report issued by the official body of the relevant competition responsible for overseeing the match. Where it is unclear whether VAR was used due to lack of television coverage and/or conflicting reports, Interwetten will settle bets based on information received from its providers or any reliable online or offline source.
Referee to Review the Video (Yes/No). Where communication takes place between the referee and the VAR room, the referee must personally review the video for a “Yes” bet to be settled as winning. If the referee does not personally review the video, the “Yes” bet will lose and the “No” bet will be settled as winning. This market will be offered on selected matches. For settlement purposes, only the television coverage of the match will be considered, as there are no official websites or providers that report whether the referee personally viewed the VAR monitor. If the television coverage does not clearly show, for any reason, whether the referee personally reviewed the video, bets on this market will be void.
Simulated Reality Football. Simulated Reality Football is a new sport based on Artificial Intelligence that gives users the opportunity to bet before or during events that mirror real football matches. Simulated Reality Football events reflect the actual form of teams and the nature of the game. Everything is determined by and based on historical data from our provider. All match markets are based on the result of a 90-minute game (2 x 45), as in real football matches. All markets will be settled according to the updated results of our provider, using a Random Number Generator to determine the outcome.
Penalty Situation. During the period from the award of a penalty until it is taken, odds are subject to changes reflecting the probability of a goal being scored. Interwetten reserves the right to void affected betting selections placed after the referee awards the penalty if, for any reason, the penalty is not taken or the decision to award it is overturned.
Total / Team Match Statistics Markets. (Total Goal Attempts, Total Shots on Target, Total Fouls, Offsides Over/Under, Total Goal Kicks, Total Throw-Ins, Distance Covered, Ball Possession, Total Tackles, Total Passes, Woodwork). Total/team statistics markets concern aggregate totals recorded in the relevant statistical category during a match. Statistics markets may relate either to the combined total of both teams or to the total for each team separately, as stated in the market title. Such markets may relate either to the whole of regular time or to a specified period of the match, as stated in the market title.
- These markets apply only to regular time. Extra time is not included.
- Each market has a specific time marker (half number and time in MM:SS format). This indicates the starting point for assessing the next relevant event. For example, “After 1st Half 00:00” means the next event after kick-off. The time marker is static and does not update; it simply represents the time point used for settlement.
- The match clock runs from the start of the match (00:00) to the end of the match, including stoppage time. For example, first-half time runs from 00:00 to 45:00 plus any stoppage time (47:20 in the 1st half is still considered first-half time, while 47:20 in the 2nd half is considered second-half time).
- “Next Shot by Player X Inside/Outside the Box”: After 1st Half 35:45
This market relates to the player’s next shot, whether from inside or outside the penalty area, or to no further shot being recorded for Player X after the stated time point (37:45 in the 1st half). If a shot by Player X is recorded statistically as inside or outside the box at 38:50 in the 1st half, the type of shot will determine settlement. A new market with a different time marker will then be created for Player X’s next opportunity to shoot from inside/outside the box.
Match Betting. All matches must start on the officially scheduled date (local time at the venue) for bets to be valid. If the venue changes, bets on the match remain valid provided the home team continues to be treated as the home team after the change. If the order Home-Away is reversed to Away-Home, the original match bets are void unless the match is played at a neutral venue. In two-way markets, stakes are refunded unless otherwise stated. Stakes on single bets are refunded and, in multiples/accumulators, the selection is treated at odds of 1.00. If a match is interrupted after it has started, bets are void except those whose outcome has already been determined. Live bets whose outcome has already been determined are also settled normally. Match bets are settled based on the score at the end of the match (final buzzer/official scoresheet). Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals do not affect bets.
Pre-Match and In-Play Bets (including Specials). Bets placed either before or after the start of the match include any overtime period(s), unless otherwise specified, such as in a two-leg home-and-away stage where a tie in a single game does not itself lead to overtime. If the aggregate points of the two teams across both games are equal, the second game proceeds to overtime even if that individual game did not finish level. The markets “Regular Time Result” and “Match to Go to Overtime” are settled based on the score at the end of regular time and do not include overtime.
Half/Period Betting. All bets placed on events occurring during a specified period or half (for example, 1st Period - Winner) apply only to that period or half as timed by the organising authority. Overtime does NOT count for bets on period or half markets, nor for the markets “Period with Most Points”, “Highest-Scoring Half”, “To Win Both Halves”, “To Win All Periods”, “Team with Highest-Scoring Half” and “Team with Highest-Scoring Period”, unless otherwise specified.
Half/Period with Most Points. Predict the half/period in which the most points will be scored. In the event of a tie, this means the same number of points was scored in both halves, or the same highest number in two or more periods.
Player Head 2 Head / Player Performance. Betting is available on the performance of a specific player across various statistical categories, e.g. points, rebounds, assists, blocks, free throws, etc. Player performances are compared for betting purposes in Player Head 2 Head markets. Handicaps may be used and added to each player’s score to determine the market result. Stake-refund rules apply. Players must participate in the match for bets to be valid, i.e. they must receive playing time, regardless of whether they start. This also applies to combination player-performance/match bets (total points, win, handicap, etc.). If the player does not participate, the bets are void. Overtime counts for all player bets unless otherwise specified. Dead-heat rules apply.
Leader in a Statistical Category. Predict the player who will record the highest total in a particular statistical category. Betting is available on player performance across categories such as points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, three-pointers, turnovers, free throws, etc. The player with the highest total is the winner. Dead-heat rules do not apply. If two or more players record the same highest total in a category, they are all winners. For confirmed participants not included in Interwetten’s list, odds may be offered at the customer’s request. The market is settled according to the official box score of the organising authority. All bets remain valid even if the winning participant was not offered by Interwetten.
First Point Scorer / First Three-Point Scorer. Players must be participating in the match when the first point or first three-pointer, respectively, is scored for the bets to be valid. This also applies to the corresponding bets in each period/half. Otherwise, the bets are void.
Winning Margin. Predict the winning margin for either of the two teams.
First Team to X Points. Predict which team will first reach the stated number of points. In two-way markets, if neither team reaches the stated number of points as described in the market, the bets are void unless otherwise stated. In three-way markets, if neither team reaches the stated number, the winning selection is “Neither”.
Rules for Friendly Matches. In friendly matches, the final result is the score at the end of the game, regardless of whether the duration or format differs from what was originally scheduled. If the two teams agree that no overtime will be played if the score is tied at the end of the game, bets on the Match Winner market are refunded and all other bets are settled based on the final score.
Championship, Conference & Division Winner Betting. Predict the winner of a competition or event. The market is settled according to the official ratified standings of the organising authority. All bets remain valid regardless of team relocation, team renaming or a change in the length of the season.
Team Wins / Head 2 Head. For markets relating to team wins, including “Total Wins” (over/under wins or exact number), “Unbeaten” and team “Head 2 Head”, bets are valid if 100% of the originally scheduled regular-season games (excluding play-offs), as determined by the organising authority, are completed. Otherwise, stakes are refunded. All bets remain valid regardless of team relocation or renaming. The organising authority’s standings will be used for settlement. Bets already determined before any interruption or change to the competition format are settled according to their outcome. Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals do not affect bets.
Postseason. Bets remain valid for markets such as “To Make the Playoffs”, “To Progress Furthest in the Playoffs”, “Final 4 - Qualification”, “To Qualify for the Semi-Finals”, “To Reach the Final”, “To Win a Medal”, “Final Pairing”, “Qualification” to the next stage and derivative markets, provided the postseason is conducted according to the originally scheduled format determined by the organising authority, irrespective of the originally scheduled number of regular-season games. If the competition format changes or the play-offs are not held, bets are void and stakes are refunded. All bets remain valid regardless of team relocation or renaming. Bets already determined before any interruption or format change are settled according to their outcome. Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals do not affect bets.
Relegation Betting. Bets will not remain valid if the official competition rules change during the competition, for example a change in the number of teams to be relegated. In that case, all bets in the market will be refunded. For settlement purposes, team positions after completion of the schedule and ratification of the competition standings determine the placings, without taking into account subsequent changes or appeals by the relevant leagues. Bets remain valid for teams that have not completed all matches. If a team is expelled during the season due to external factors (for example, debts), bets on that team are void.
Group Winners/Qualification. Bets remain valid for markets such as “Group Winner”, “Bottom Team”, “Final Position”, “Teams to Qualify”, “Exact-Order Forecast”, “Qualification” from a group and derivative markets, provided the relevant stage is conducted according to the originally scheduled format determined by the organising authority. If the format changes or the relevant stage is not completed, bets are void and stakes are refunded. All bets remain valid regardless of team relocation or renaming. The organising authority’s standings will be used for settlement. Bets already determined before any interruption or format change are settled according to their outcome. Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals do not affect bets.
Other Outright Markets. All other outright markets are settled normally based on the final standings in the event of an interruption, irrespective of the originally scheduled number of games. All bets remain valid regardless of team relocation or renaming. Dead-heat rules apply. Subsequent disqualifications and/or appeals do not affect bets.
Player Outright Markets. For statistical average markets involving points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers, blocks and steals (and combinations thereof), participants must play in at least 50% of the games as defined by the organising authority; otherwise stakes are refunded. For markets relating to total points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals (and combinations thereof), double-doubles, triple-doubles, top scorer, leader in rebounds, assists, etc., participants must play in at least one match; otherwise stakes are refunded. All bets remain valid regardless of a player transfer during the season, provided the required total number of appearances has been completed. Dead-heat rules apply.
Player Outright Markets (NBA). For statistical average markets involving points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals (and combinations thereof), participants must play in at least 70% of the games as defined by the organising authority; otherwise stakes are refunded. In the “Three-Point Average” market, the participant must make at least 82 three-pointers for bets to be valid; otherwise stakes are refunded.
Series Betting. Bets are void if the prescribed series is not completed or if the scheduled number of games is changed, based on the information of the organising authority.
Performance/Awards Markets. For bets to be valid, participants must take part in at least one match; otherwise stakes are refunded. Markets are settled based on the official statistics provided by the organising authorities of the relevant tournament. Subsequent changes do not affect settlement. Dead-heat rules apply.
Match/Team with Most Points. Predict which offered team will score the most points or which offered match will have the most points scored. If an event is interrupted after the highest number of points has already been recorded in that event, all bets remain valid. Otherwise, all bets are void. Dead-heat rules apply.
Team to Progress Furthest and Stage of Elimination. The highest official ranking, according to the organising authority, will be used for settlement, except where teams are eliminated at the same stage and no specific ranking position exists. In that case, bets are void.
3x3 Rules. For 3x3, Streetball and Big3 matches, bets are settled according to the official rules and results. If a match starts but is not completed, bets are void unless the result of the relevant market has already been determined.
Double-Double/Triple-Double. For a Double-Double, the player must record 10 or more in two of the following five statistical categories. For a Triple-Double, the player must record 10 or more in three of the five categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks and Steals. Players must participate in the match for bets to be valid, regardless of whether they start.
Player Free Throws (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). Predict whether a player will make or miss the free throw offered in the market. Free throws will be numbered accordingly, for example “Player X on his free throw (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.)”. The market is settled according to the official game result following the referee’s decision. Each player’s free throws are numbered according to the official play-by-play report. For settlement, statistics from the official organising authority of the competition or event will be used. Where there is no organising authority and/or its statistics are unavailable or there are specific indications/evidence that they are incorrect, bets will be settled on the basis of Interwetten’s statistics and/or those of its official partner providers.
First Event in the Match for Player/Team X. This refers to the first statistical event (made shot, two-pointer, three-pointer, rebound, assist, block, steal, turnover) recorded by the organising authority’s statistical service according to the play-by-play.
Player X Total Points, Rebounds, Assists, Three-Pointers, Steals, Blocks (including combinations of these markets). For the bet to be settled as winning, Player X must reach or exceed the threshold stated in the relevant selection.
Player X at Least X Total Assists & at Least Y Total Points & at Least Z Total Rebounds (X, Y, Z). For the bet to be settled as winning, Player X must reach or exceed all stated thresholds (X, Y, Z).
Next Team of Player/Coach X Market. The market is settled based on the team with which Player/Coach X is under contract at the first official match of the season and whose roster he belongs to. If information is leaked that may affect betting outcomes, bets will be settled at odds of 1.00.
Next Coach. If a coaching change occurs before the start of the season, settlement is based on the first coach under contract with Team X for the first official match of the season. For mid-season coaching changes where a team does not immediately appoint a permanent replacement and uses interim options, an interim coach will be treated as permanent for settlement if he is on the bench for 10 or more official matches for clubs or 4 or more official matches for national teams. If information is leaked that may affect betting outcomes, bets will be settled at odds of 1.00.
Foul-Out. For the “Yes” selection to be settled as winning, a player must exceed the permitted number of fouls.
Tennis Match. A tennis match is deemed to have started with the first serve of the match. All bets remain valid in any of the following cases:
a) Change of venue
b) Change of match day and/or schedule
c) Change of playing surface
d) Change from indoor to outdoor court or vice versa
General Rule. This rule takes precedence over all others and applies to all offered betting markets. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void except bets already settled at the time of interruption or bets whose outcome could no longer have changed and had therefore already been determined at the time of interruption (see Examples 1-3 below).
Tournament Winner (Outright). If a player does not participate in the tournament, all bets are void. The player must play at least one point in the tournament for bets to be valid.
Match Winner (pre-match and live betting). All bets on the winner of a tennis match are void if the match starts but is not completed. If the match format changes and, as a result, the total number of sets changes (for example, best of 3 sets to best of 5 sets) or the total number of games in a set changes (for example, a 6-game set changes to a 4-game set), Match Winner bets remain valid, while bets relating to sets and games are void.
Tournament Head 2 Head (H2H) Bets. Both players/teams must play at least one point in the tournament for bets to be valid. If the two players/teams reach the same round, the bets are void.
Set Betting (current/next). Bets are void if the specified set is not completed or if the number of sets changes.
First to 3 Games. A player must win 3 games for the bet to count.
Current/Next Set Winner / Set X Multi-Choice Score. The relevant set must be completed for bets to be valid.
Tie-Break in the First Set. If the first set is not completed, bets are void unless the score has reached 6-6, in which case the market is settled as “Yes”.
Tie-Break in the Match. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void unless a tie-break has already occurred in the match or a tie-break can no longer occur.
Double Result (Player to win/lose the first set and then win/lose the match). If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void.
Number of Sets (pre-match and live betting). If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void unless the final set had already started when a player was disqualified/retired or the bet had already been determined.
Set Score. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void except where the bet had already been determined. Example: the match is permanently stopped due to a player retiring when the set score is 1-1. Bets on set scores of 2-0 and 0-2 are settled as losing.
Total Games / Player Total Double Faults / Player Total Breaks / Total Breaks / Games Handicap / Aces Handicap, including live betting. For all these markets, a tie-break or Super/Match Tie-Break counts as one game. If there is a retirement, cancellation or change of court surface during the match, bets are void unless there is no possible way the set and/or match could have unfolded under normal conditions so as to change the already determined outcome of the market. Examples:
1) The set is permanently stopped at 4-4. Bets on Over/Under 9.5 Games (or lower lines) are settled as winning/losing respectively, because every possible continuation would have produced at least 10 games. Bets on Over/Under 10.5 Games or higher are void.
2) In a best-of-three-set match, play is permanently stopped at 6-4, 4-6. Bets on Over/Under 25.5 Games (or lower lines) are settled as winning/losing respectively. Bets on Over/Under 26.5 Games or higher are void.
3) In a best-of-three-set match, play is permanently stopped at 6-4, 4-6, 5-5. Bets on either player with a handicap of +2.5 or greater are settled as winning, while bets with a handicap of -2.5 or lower (-4.5, -5.5, etc.) are settled as losing. All bets between -2 and +2 are void.
Handicap, Match Total Games and Player Games markets are based on a specified number of sets (see the relevant set market). If the specified number of sets changes or differs from the number offered for betting purposes, all bets are void.
Number of Aces / Double Faults / First Ace / Last Ace / First Double Fault / First Break / First Challenge / Match Duration (minutes) / 1st Set Duration (minutes) / Most Aces / Most Double Faults (set) / Player / First Break Point / Total Break Points / Total Winners / Individual Winners / Total Double Faults / Individual Double Faults / Total HawkEye Challenges. If a player is disqualified or retires, all bets are void unless the outcome of the bet has already been determined. Bets are settled according to official tournament statistics.
How Many Sets a Player Will Lose During the Entire Tournament. If a player retires from a match or does not participate from the outset, this is treated as a 2-0 set loss in best-of-three matches or a 3-0 set loss in best-of-five matches.
Stage of Elimination. The player must play at least one point in the tournament for bets to be valid.
Champions' Tie-Break. In some competitions (e.g. Seniors' Tour, non-Grand Slam doubles), matches tied at 1-1 sets are decided by a “Champions Tie-Break”. Where a match is decided by a Champions Tie-Break, it is treated as the third set. Set Betting will be settled as 2-1 to the winner of the Champions Tie-Break. Any bets inadvertently accepted on Correct Score or number of Games in the 3rd set are void.
Match Result - Both Players to Win a Set / Match Result - Total Games (including live betting). If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void.
Comeback Win / Straight Sets Markets (including live betting). If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void unless settlement has already been determined.
Match with Most Games / Match with Fewest Games. The matches included in these markets must be completed for bets to be valid unless settlement has already been determined.
Finalists Forecast / Final Forecast / To Reach the Final / Finalist from Outside the Main Draw / Qualifier to Reach the Final / Wild Card to Reach the Final / To Qualify from the Group Stage. Bets on non-participants are void. If a player withdraws before the final, the scheduled match will be used to determine settlement. Specifically for the market “Qualifier to Reach the Final”, a Lucky Loser is not considered to have qualified.
To Win the Tournament Without Losing a Set. Bets are valid only if the tournament is fully completed.
Stage of Elimination. The player must play at least one point for bets to be valid. If a market changes during the tournament and a particular player withdraws before the scheduled match, any bets placed after that player’s previous round/match are void.
To Reach the Round / To Meet in the Round / Number of Top Seeds in the Semi-Finals / Number of Top Seeds in the Final / Number of Players of a Nationality in the Round. In the event of disqualification or retirement, all bets are void unless settlement has already been determined. If a market changes during a tournament and one or more players withdraw before their next scheduled match/round, bets on that market are void.
Fewest Games in Any Set. Bets are settled based on the set containing the fewest games in the match. The set must be completed for bets to be valid. In the event of retirement, all bets relating to this market are void.
Total Games in the Tournament / Sets in Round Markets / Seeds Eliminated in a Specified Round. The specified number of rounds must be fully completed for bets to be valid unless settlement has already been determined.
H2H / H2H Aces / H2H Double Faults / H2H First Serve (%). The specified matches of the players in the relevant round must be successfully completed for bets to be valid.

Maximum Consecutive Points (Player A/B) / Maximum Consecutive Games (Player A/B). Number of consecutive points/games won by the specified player in each market. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets are void unless settlement has already been determined.
What Will Happen First in the Match. The market is settled according to data from our provider. Dead-heat rules apply.
Formula 1 / MotoGP. All race bets are settled according to the classification of the official authority (FIA/FIM) at the time of the podium presentation. Subsequent penalties/disqualifications do not affect bets. All qualifying bets are settled based on the times recorded in the final stage of qualifying. If the final stage is cancelled for any reason, bets are settled according to the official FIA/FIM grid. Grid penalties and disqualifications do not affect settlement. If a race is red-flagged and the first start is officially annulled, this does not void bets. Bets remain valid for the subsequent restart until the race is officially completed.
For Head-2-Head (and H3H) bets, the following rules apply:
The named drivers/riders must start the relevant session (qualifying/race) for bets to be valid.
If a driver/rider is not classified in the race, the bet is considered lost provided the H2H opponent is classified.
If neither driver/rider is classified in the race, bets are settled at odds of 1.00.
For the market “Leader after completion of the 1st lap”, the winning selection is the leading driver/rider who crosses the start/finish line after completing one racing lap (the formation lap does not count). If no racing lap is completed, bets are void.
Bets on the first driver/rider to retire from the race are settled according to the number of laps completed. If two or more drivers/riders retire after exactly the same lap, dead-heat rules apply (see 1.12). The formation lap counts for settlement of this market.
Outright Bets / Competition Winners. Bets are settled according to the standings after the final match/Grand Prix of the season and are not affected by subsequent disqualifications, appeals or points deductions.
Special Markets. The named drivers/riders must start the relevant session (qualifying/race) for bets to be valid. For bets concerning teams/constructors, both cars/motorcycles must start the session for the bets to remain valid. If at least one car/motorcycle does not start, all affected bets in the related special markets are settled at odds of 1.0 (void).
Outright Bets: Grand Prix Wins / Podiums / Fastest Lap Wins / Points. Participating drivers/riders must compete in at least 70% of the races as defined by the organising authority. Otherwise, the stake is refunded (for a 23-race season, the threshold is 16 appearances). In addition, all bets in these categories will be calculated and settled only for races in which the drivers/riders competed using the cars/motorcycles of the constructors with which they started the season. If a driver/rider competes with a vehicle from another constructor in one or more races, those races will not be included in final settlement.
Outright Bets: Retirements (during the race). A “retirement” means a driver/rider failing to finish a race (DNF) in which he/she started normally. Whether the driver/rider is listed as classified in the final results is irrelevant for settlement.
Formula 1 - Red Flag During the Race. Bets are valid from the race start. The formation lap does not count.
Formula 1 - Safety Car. If the Safety Car runs in front of the leading car because of an incident, or if the race starts behind the Safety Car, or if the race ends under Safety Car conditions even though the Safety Car did not have time to reach the track, the market will be settled as “Yes”.
Formula 1 - Virtual Safety Car. If a Virtual Safety Car indication is displayed at the track, the market will be settled as “Yes”. If the race starts or ends under Virtual Safety Car conditions, the market will be settled as “Yes”.
Formula 1 - Team H2H. The team whose two drivers score the most points in total at the end of the race will be settled as the winner.
Formula 1 - Driver of the Day. The Driver of the Day, as voted by the fans, will be the driver listed on the official Formula 1 website (Formula1.com).
Formula 1/MotoGP - H2H First Lap. The winner will be the driver/rider who first crosses the finish line after completing one officially classified racing lap. If the event starts behind the Safety Car, bets will stand. The general Head-to-Head rule applies in all other cases.
Formula 1/MotoGP - Forecast after the First Lap. The first two drivers/riders to cross the finish line after one officially classified racing lap will be settled as “Winners”. If the event starts under Safety Car conditions, bets will stand as normal.
Formula 1 - Yellow Flag During the First Lap. If a yellow flag is shown during the television broadcast or is referred to in the race lap report on the official FIA website, the market will be settled as “Yes”.
Formula 1 - Retirement During the First Lap. If the driver started the race and failed to complete one officially classified lap, according to the FIA race classification, the market will be settled as “Yes”.
Outright Bets/Competition Winners. Bets will be settled based on the standings after the final match/Grand Prix of the season and will not be affected by subsequent disqualifications, appeals or points deductions.
Heat/Race Winner. All four listed riders must start the stated heat/race for bets to stand. Otherwise, bets will be void.
Rider Head to Head/Rider Handicap. All heats/races count, with points scored as normal, e.g. 3-2-1-0. Bonus points do not count. Bets stand if both riders complete at least one heat/race. Furthermore, if an event is abandoned before completion, all bets will be void unless already determined. The winner will be the rider who has scored the most points after the final heat/race. The only exception is where both riders qualify for the finals, in which case their final classification will determine the Head-to-Head winner. If, after applying the handicap, the riders are tied in the Head to Head, bets will be void.
Total Rider Points. All heats/races count, with points scored as normal, e.g. 3-2-1-0. Bonus points do not count. Bets stand once the riders enter the track. Furthermore, if an event is abandoned before completion, all bets will be void unless already determined. Where markets are offered on Individual Speedway/Grand Prix events, they will be settled according to the total points scored in the main part of the event (20 heats/races). Semi-finals and finals do not count.
Pre-Match Markets. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets will be void unless the relevant market has already been determined. If the score is amended following a referee's decision, bets on all markets will be settled according to the official result. If the venue is changed, bets already placed will stand provided that the home team remains designated as the home team. If the home and away teams are reversed, bets placed on the basis of the original home team will be void. Any points scored during the so-called “Golden Set” (also known as the sixth set) do not count for settlement of the relevant match, except for bets relating to player markets, progression and/or tournament totals. Head-to-Head and Over/Under bets involving the performance of one or more players in the match/event/tournament are valid provided that all listed players take part at some stage. In the Top Scorer market, the listed athlete must take part in the match/event/tournament for bets on that athlete to be valid. If an athlete does not participate, bets on other athletes are unaffected. Dead-heat rules apply.

If a particular half is not completed, bets will be void unless the outcome of the relevant market has already been determined.
In Head-to-Head bets, the winner is the participant who achieves the better final placing. Where one participant is required to progress further than the other, the participant who progresses furthest will be the winner. If both participants are eliminated at the same stage, for example if neither progresses beyond the quarter-finals, the result will be treated as a tie and the odds will be settled at 1.00. Bets will be settled according to the podium result, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications. Statistics from the official scoring provider or the official website of the relevant competition or event will be used for settlement.
The final result includes overtime. If the venue is changed, bets already placed will stand provided that the home team remains the home team. If the home and away teams are reversed, all bets already placed will be void. In two-way markets, tie rules apply unless otherwise stated. Stakes on singles will be refunded and, in multiples/parlays, the selection will be treated as a non-runner. If a match is postponed or rescheduled to another date (local time), all bets on the match will be settled at odds of 1.00.

The same applies to every Baseball market offered by Interwetten.

Outrights: if, for any reason, a rider does not start the race, bets concerning that rider will be settled as losers. Dead-heat rules apply. All bets will be void for races that are not completed unless 5 stages have been completed and an official result has been confirmed, the outcome has already been determined, or otherwise stated.
Results from an event will be considered valid provided that the event is declared valid for the relevant category by the governing federation of the sport. This applies where an event is shortened, such as consisting of only one run/jump instead of two, or where an event is moved to another venue. In cases of events that are cancelled/not completed, all offers whose outcome had already been determined before play was interrupted and/or where further play could not possibly produce a different outcome will remain valid and will be settled accordingly. All offers will be void if the original/announced format of an event is changed completely, such as the hill size in ski jumping, the style in cross-country skiing, etc. In a Head-to-Head between two or more participants, at least one participant must complete the final stage/jump to which the bet relates for bets to stand. This provision does not apply to Cross-Country Sprint events involving different elimination stages, or to Ski Jumping. If any player scheduled to participate in a match is changed before the match starts, all match bets will be void. If a match starts but is not completed, all bets will be void except for specific markets whose outcome has already been determined, or where there is no possible way for the game and/or match to be completed without the outcome of a specific market already being determined.
Unless otherwise stated in the market, all bets are settled based on regulation time and extra time or penalty shoot-outs are not taken into account. Markets settled in regulation time include, among others, 1X2, Over/Under and Asian Handicap on the match result. With the exception of the “Extra Time Result” market, the penalty shoot-out is considered part of extra time. Extra time is not included in player specials. Bets are settled at the end of regulation time. For settlement purposes, if an event is postponed or abandoned, our relevant general rules will apply.
Bets will be settled based on the official results, regardless of any subsequent disqualifications, penalties or resulting changes to team line-ups after they were initially formed. Statistics from the official scoring provider or the official website of the relevant competition will be used for settlement.
